Body In Hand is open Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, plus Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Every session is by appointment. The quickest way to reserve a time is the Square scheduler, which shows live openings and current rates. Sessions start from $85. Choose a service and time there, then wait for confirmation before you make the drive. By appointment only — I don't take walk-ins. If you are hoping for a massage today, check Square first or call. Same-day time may be available, but it is not yours until the appointment is confirmed. This little bit of structure keeps the room quiet, leaves time to prepare between clients, and protects the hour you booked.

Call (951) 440-6161 if you have a same-day question, need to check an access detail, or are not sure what to choose. If I am with a client, leave your name, callback number, and the day you hope to come in. You can also email bodyinhand@gmail.com for a non-urgent question. Most people do not need a perfect service name before they reach out. Tell me things such as the pressure you usually like, what you want to focus on, and anything you would rather avoid. A short, honest description is usually more useful than trying to match yourself to a menu label. I can explain the differences in plain language, but you do not need to study them before we talk. Choosing the technique is part of my job.

The studio is at 25109 Jefferson Ave Ste 120, Murrieta, CA 92562, just off the 15, with parking at the door. This is my only location. Every appointment happens here in Murrieta; I do not offer mobile, on-site, or chair massage. Arrive close to your scheduled time so we have room for a short intake conversation without taking from your hands-on time. I'm the only practitioner here, so if you arrive very early I may still be with the client before you. Wheelchair-accessible covers the entrance, parking, restroom, and seating. I take credit cards, debit cards, and mobile tap-to-pay. If there is another practical detail that would make arrival easier, please call before your appointment. In my experience, a quick question before the drive is much better than arriving tense and trying to sort it out at the door.

Service area is the set of nearby communities clients drive in from — I do not travel to them. Clients come from Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, and Hemet, but all sessions are in-office. If you are weighing the drive, the areas served guide opens with exactly this point: sessions are in-office only, in Murrieta. There is also local context for clients coming from Temecula and Wildomar. Put the full address into your map before you leave and give yourself enough time to arrive without rushing. If the drive is not practical that day, I would rather you know that before you book.

The studio is closed Wednesday and Friday. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm; Saturday and Sunday are 8:00am to 8:00pm. The early weekend opening can be helpful when weekdays are full or you want the rest of Sunday free. It does not make the studio a walk-in business. An open business hour tells you when I work. An open appointment in Square tells you when I can see you. If the time you want is gone, please do not assume a business-hour listing means I can fit you in between appointments. I noticed that weekend bookings are often the ones people try to make at the last minute, so checking the live calendar first saves a call.

Start with what you can describe honestly. For firmer, focused work on tight areas, read about deep tissue massage. For a quieter session with flowing pressure and broad relaxation, Swedish massage is a useful starting point. Neither label locks the whole session into one rigid method. For example, I learned early on that many people arrive with shoulders that feel overworked, yet know very deep pressure would be miserable. That is enough to begin. You can tell me what has felt good or unhelpful in past massages, too. It gives me a clearer place to start. Plenty of first appointments start with 'I'm not sure what to book' — that's a normal way to begin, and we sort it out in the first couple of minutes. If you're after something more specific, lymphatic drainage massage uses light, rhythmic work — though it's not a substitute for medical care. If a doctor has given you timing, pressure, or recovery instructions, bring them. I am a massage therapist, not a doctor. I don't diagnose conditions. You stay comfortably draped and can ask for an adjustment at any point.

I am Erika Cocco, a CAMTC-certified massage therapist (CAMTC #8438). Use the CAMTC Record Search to verify that number yourself. I am also an ABMP professional member and hold Murrieta business license BL #26048. CAMTC publishes consumer information for checking a massage provider, and I think you should use it. Most people who call want to know the same three things, such as whether I have weekend availability, whether the studio is easy to find, and whether they have to know what to book. I keep the phone conversation short and the booking simple.

Let me say one thing plainly: for most healthy adults massage is comfortable, low-risk care, and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health puts the risk of harmful effects as low (NCCIH, 2024). That same source is honest that the evidence for pain relief is mixed rather than settled, and I would rather repeat that than promise more than an hour can deliver.
